About us
Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is the one from four faculties of Polish Naval Academy. The faculty was founded in 2008. The faculty offers both undergraduate (first and second degree) and post-graduate courses for civilian students. Faculty offers courses: International Relations, Education Studies, Military and Public Service. In the structure of faculty there are: Institute of International Relations, Institute od Education Studies and Cathedral of Military History.
The major part of the activity of the faculty is conducting the research in the following areas:
- contemporary political issues;
- globalization processes;
- philosophical aspects of cultural and civilization processes;
- history of material and spiritual culture of Pomeranian (region in northern Poland);
- military history and education;
- intercultural education;
- identity and stereotypes.
